Welcome to the Eagle Eye Blog

Thank you for visiting the Eagle Eye. The main purpose of this blog is to put a spotlight on issues of interest to conservatives specific to Michigan and national issues that will directly impact the citizens of this State. Although I am registered as a Republican I am truly an Independent. I don't believe it is prudent to blindly support one "Party". Most issues I agree with the Republican Party, however, there are times when I do side with the Democrats. I will call issues as I see them. I have many friends on both sides of the aisle. This blog will shed light on the issues; the positives and negatives of the powers that be.

Where Do I Stand?

I am a Christian. I am not even close to perfect. I do not believe I am better than any other person. I am a sinner and I am sure I do many things that are offensive and disappointing in the eyes of God. Luckily, I have representation, his name is Jesus. I do not hate people, I love them. I may not always like their actions, views or ideals but I am sure the same can be said for the other side of the argument.

As for this blog. This is not a "feel good" blog. This blog is a reflection of the reality of the world we live in. Sometimes there will be feel-good topics, but more often than not it will deal with serious issues. If the topics are upsetting to you, please do not read them. I will not conduct my own field research, I do not have the time or money. I will use 'facts' and 'other' peoples experiences as well as my own experiences. I use the facts to form an opinion. Between fact and opinion is where you will find my blog. This is a blog for discussion and debate. If you feel something I say is offensive to you personally, please let me know and allow me to clarify. My intent is never to degrade or demean anyone on my blog. I welcome everyone to my blog as long as you are respectful. I hope this clears up the misrepresentations of who I am or my intentions. Thank you for visiting.
